The suits covered with flanges, plastics and cardboard represent an armor for the artist, which places a barrier between the flesh and the world. For years they have served to protect himself, to hide parts of his body and his personality that he supposed embarrassed to
the rest. Thanks to introspection, that soft and hidden self has become stronger and more empowered and Marta Pinilla has been showing parts of herself, in an exercise of self-love.
As a scientist, Marta has denied her spirituality many times, assuming a more empirical personality; Armor / Love supposes an acceptance of this face of the polyhedron of his personality. For this, a series of photographs were taken in which both the artist
like other performers they assume different states that the artist has gone through, from depression, melancholy and euphoria; or adopt Iconic poses that have symbolized spirituality in different religions. These photographs have been printed on different materials
and measurements, from fabric to aluminum; thus showing that polyhedron that we have discussed previously.

Los trajes cubiertos con bridas, plásticos y cartones suponen una armadura para la artista, que sitúa una barrera entre la carne y el mundo exterior. Durante años le han servido para protegerse, para ocultar partes de su cuerpo y su personalidad que suponía vergonzosas para el resto. Gracias a una labor de introspección, ese yo blando y oculto, se ha ido haciendo más fuerte y empoderado y Marta Pinilla ha ido mostrando partes de si misma, en un ejercicio de amor propio.

Como científica, Marta ha renegado muchas veces de su espiritualidad, asumiendo una personalidad más empírica; Armor/Amor supone una aceptación de esta cara del poliedro de su personalidad. Para ello se realizaron una serie de fotografías en las que tanto la artista como otros performers asumen diferentes estados que ha pasado la artista, desde la depresión, la melancolía y la euforia; o adoptan poses icónicas que han simbolizado la espiritualidad en las diferentes religiones. Estas fotografías se han impreso en diferentes materiales y medidas, desde tela a aluminio; mostrando así ese poliedro que hemos comentado con anterioridad.
