Multiverso (2016). Performance artística

“Multiverso” has been the continuation of “Stroke: memories falling into a black hole”. Marta wondered what would happen inside that black hole. At that time, they would go from being abstract concepts to being organic and living beings that move in search of the white hole, represented by a light bulb. The performers’ movements are remotely reminiscent of human movements, but they have lost their liveliness.
The sound seems to be taken from nature, but it is totally distorted (it has been recorded with a hydrophone inside a block of ice). By that is familiar and, at the same time, it causes strangeness. The public adds to this dystopian feeling, as people do not know where it is, and at first he does not understand what he is seeing. Little by little, they feel complicit in a unique and multisensory experience. Thus, links are created between the public and the
part; the viewer begins to recognize himself in these formless beings and to relate it to his own feelings of loss and creation.
This performance has been shown in different places, both in galleries and on the street. Each new representation adds a new dimension to the project. The darkness present in the first occasion, passed to the light of the subsequent ones. The formless shattered memories became entities capable of transmitting a multiplicity of feelings.

“Multiverso”, ha sido la continuación de “Stroke: memories falling into a black hole”. Marta se preguntaba qué pasaría dentro de ese agujero negro. En ese momento, pasarían de ser conceptos abstractos a ser seres orgánicos y vivos que se mueven en busca del agujero blanco, representado por un foco de luz. Los movimientos de los intérpretes recuerdan remotamente los movimientos humanos, pero han perdido la vivacidad.
El sonido parece sacado de la naturaleza, pero está totalmente distorsionado (ha sido grabado con un hidrófono dentro de un bloque de hielo). Por eso es familiar y, al mismo tiempo, causa extrañeza. El público se suma a este sentimiento distópico, ya que la gente no sabe dónde está, y al principio no entiende lo que está viendo. Poco a poco, se sienten cómplices de una experiencia multisensorial y única. Así, se crean vínculos entre el público y la pieza; el espectador comienza a reconocerse en estos seres informes y a relacionarlo con sus propios sentimientos de pérdida y creación.
Esta performance se ha mostrado en diferentes lugares, tanto en galerías como en la calle. Cada nueva representación agrega una nueva dimensión al proyecto. La oscuridad presente en la primera ocasión, pasó a la luz de las posteriores. Los recuerdos rotos sin forma, se convirtieron en entidades capaces de transmitir una multiplicidad de sentimientos.
